BreedsThe Breeds and Types of Horses vary. The Clydesdale crosses are the most favoured. They are 16 to 17 Hands high and are found necessary for ploughing and mowing on the mountain slopes. They stand 6 days work a week, but are costly to keep. Many of the Irish Draught (Bare legs) are also seen. Some with "Blood" may also be seen. They are good workers and breed Hunters when mated with a thoroughbred Stallion.
