On this page

  1. Nearer to the village than the mound is a Graveyard with the ruins of a small Church. To the Right of the door is a peculiar flat stone of granite with Carving. It is said this marks the Grave of St Sylvester.
    (Portion about the grave told me by Mr John Allen who lives 10yds from the Graveyard ).

  2. There are the remains of about Twenty Raths to be seen within a Radius of [one] three miles from Donard. The is a spring well near most of these.
