    I have always heard of the great charms possessed by the four leaf Shamrock. It is a very scarce plant. I have never seen one myself only what the old people have told me from time to time.
    At any rate it is very scarce, one of the supposed places where it might be found is where a mare gave birth to her first foal.
    An old man by the name of James Byrne told me a story about the four leaf shamrock. One day a man went to the marked with a load
