A Toothache:-
Was cured by rubbing a frog along the face and around the head. The frog must be alive. The old people say that this is a much safer remedy that the ones we resort to nowadays. If it did not cure the sufferer it would not harm his nerves.
Rheumatism:
Was cured by creeping between an ass's legs in the shape of a cross. If a red herring were fried on a dry pan, and if it were taken up, still sizzling and put on the place affected it would also cure it. Burns:-
Were cured by rubbing goose-greas on the blistered(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
