- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)Many people help one another in this district. One farmer goes to help a neighbour, who, in turn, aids him. They lend and borrow horses and farming implements to cultivate and sow the different crops. When the potatoes grow to a certain height, they are moulded, and after some time they are sprayed. When the potatoes begin to lose their blossoms people start digging them. Some people use a spade, and others that have bigger portions usually dig the potatoes up out of the ground with a plough. Then they are put into pits and covered with dry straw and plenty of clay on the outside.
