    The people had three meals a day in olden times. The name of the meals were breakfast dinner and supper. The people worked from six o'clock till nine without food.
    Potatoes were very often used. Milk was seldom used except Buttermilk. The table was placed near the wall. There were not much cows out to have milk.
    Oaten bread was used. It was made on a grid-iron. The meat was eaten salt. The name of it was American Bacon. there were no special food. Nagans were used instead of cups.
