silent grave.The name on the tombstone is Michael Rowe, Faythe, August 16th 1840. As the graveyard is now closed and unused it is neglected and overgrown with nettles and weeds and many of the oldest tombstones are covered with moss and ivy. There is one old tombstone broken in two.
There are many tall trees growing here and there and right in the centre of the graveyard there are two walls about nine feet in hight and about two feet apart. These walls are covered with ivy and are understood to be the ruins of an old church of(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
