    He escaped by a surage pipe but he was recaptured on his own lands and he was flogged again. He was then kept in prison until a man bailed him out for two hundred pounds pretending to the captain that his wife was very ill. The man advised Mr. O'Connor not to go home but to join the rebels. He did so and he fought many battles against the English forces.
