Hidden TreasureWithin three or four miles north from our home is the mountain of Forth to the North side of which lies a rock named the "Cobblers Rook." It is locally believed that treasure was hidden here in the Penal days.
In recent times two men were quarrying stones from this rock, and on turning out a huge slab, they discovered, in a cavity, a hoard of silver.
They refused to tell how much, but it was enough to enrich themselves and their families for the remainder of their lives, as both retired from manual labour and lived a life of comfort.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
