The logwood and copporous were in pouder and were obtainable in the shops for a couple pence. They used to also colour with blue dye called indigs. It was done in the same manner as the other colouring was done, you could mix white with it and have it a white and blue colour. Then it was spun and sent to the weavers and woven into blue and white frieze.
