  2. There was once a King and he employed a man to build him a tower. When he had it finished he asked the king for a ladder to get down. But the king would not give him the ladder to get down. He did not want him to build a tower like this for another King. So the man had to stay on the tower that night and the King went in and went to bed.
    Next morning when the children were going to school, they began to say
