  1. It is said that salt and water is able to cure chilblains. If you tie a cloth round your head when you have a headache it will cure it. It is said that if you pull a tooth out of a dead man's mouth with your own teeth you will never have a toothache.
    The seventh son of a family is supposed to be able to cure ring-worm. When he is born a worm is put into his hand and left in it until it dies in it. He is supposed to have powder over the worm. There is only one seventh son in this district called Leonard Berry
