  1. The people pay toll on cattle going into the fair green in Athlone and Longford namely one shilling for every twenty cattle. The person that sells the beast has to give luck penny.

  2. When you sell a horse you must give a halter with him. The usual amount of luck penny is sixpence a head on pigs, two shillings or 2/6 a head on cattle, from five shillings to ten shillings on a horse.
