- As the Holy Family were going to Egypt a woman came in great distress to Mary and said her husband had a pain in his side. Mary said to her "Pull the shortest wool of the sheep's neck and rub it on the side." She did so and immediately he was cured

It is said that the Holy Family go about from house to house looking for lodging on Christmas Eve. That is the reason why people light candles at night and leave their doors(continues on next page)
