    Cionn Torc
    Castlepollard was formerly knows as Kinturk. Got its present name from the Pollard family who are landlords of the town.

    Drummon
    A district about a mile from Castlepollard lying east between the Collinstown and Bratty roads.

    Bratty
    A district lying south east of here and bout a mile distant.

    Teerevagh
    A district between here Lough Lene and adjoining the townland of Loughpark

    Corneál
    Bordering the townland of Loughpark. Gavigan's house at corner.

    Deerpark
    West of Loughpark. Remains of wall which long ago enclosed deer are still to be seen.
    Cruckelly
    Between Slieveboy and Loughpark.

    Slieveboy
    A townland lying N.E. of here. Older people pronounced it Shli Bwee (Sliabh Buidhe) Adjacent to Slieveboy lies a district called Castleanakirke (Caisleán na Coirce - probably)

    Ballyclaugher
    Name of a well near Teerevagh.

    Pudden' St.
