Clinton's Goat- Specimen of songs composed by James (Nutt) Gibbons, Water St., Castlepollard.
All of his rhymes were usually composed when working on the roads and told of an incident that happened in the locality.
They were all sung to the same "air" and during dinner hour on the roadside the toilers were regailed with the latest.
