    she first tried if you had the heart ache by filling a cup with oat meal and putting it to your own chest. If you had the heart ache there appeared to be a spoonful of meal taken out of the cupful when it was taken away. The meal that remained in the cup had to be made into a cake which had to be baked before the fire. If the cat passed between it and the fire you would not be cured. When it was baked the cat had to get some of it.
