  1. The names of the fields around my home are The Well Field.The Front Field. The Mound. Mc Ardles Field. The Sand Field.Kitty Carry's Field.
    The Well field is so called because it has a well in it.
    The Front Field is so called on account of its situation in front of the house.
    The Mound is so called because it has a mound on its summit.
    Mc Ardles field has got its name from its former owner.
    The Sandfield got its name because people took sand out of it in former days.
    Kitty Carry's Field is so called because she owned the field in former days and she was supposed to be a witch.
    The above fields are situated in the townlands of Newstone and Rathrasna in the Parish of Drumconrath Co Meath.
