    I live in the townland of Rathtrasna near the village of Drumconrath in the barony of Lower Slane.
    the townland has a population of about 40.
    Halpin is the most common family name.
    All the houses are slated, none are thatched.
    There are forts in the adjoining townland near hand and that is probably how it got its name.
    There are no people over seventy living in the townland.
    Some of the fields in the district are hilly and others are level.
    There is no stream flowing
