   This story was told by Patrick Dixon, aged 54 year
   Native of Parish.

   There is the ruins of an old castle in Carronstown though there are but a few stones now left.
   Under it people believe there is a sow, who comes out to Carronstown Well once in every seven years and she drinks as much as will do her another seven years.
   She drinks the well dry and it remains dry for weeks afterwards.
   This sow is supposed to mind a big crock of gold
