- There is a fairy fort in Grange. It is situated in the middle of a field. It is a circular shape. Ther is one large tree growing in the centre and other small ones growing round it. There are stones all round it and one large stone in the centre. There is a hole under the stone and it is said the fairies come in and out under the stone. A man cut down one of the trees and his family died inside one year. There were people living in a house near the fort. Every night they used ot hear the fairies singing and laughing and they left the house and it had to be knocked because no one would live in it.
