    named McKeown. He was the ringleader of any trouble that was going. He and his men attacked the agent when he was going to collect the rent. Taffaginny returned to Ireland when he heard of the trouble. He had a dance in his honour. McKeown was informed of the ball so he planned a raid. When they reached the place, they heard the laugh of gentry inside. They set fire to the rick of hay, which burning quickly, caught on to the main building. All but a few were burned to death. Later on all the guilty were brought to justice.
