    If the tide is sounding northwards it is the sign of fine weather and when it sounds down towards Mutton Island it is the sign of bad weather
    When the Kerry hills appear near us it is the sign of bad weather
    If you see the frog in summer wearing a yellow vest it is the sign of fine weather and when he is wearing a russet coat it is the sign of bad weather
    If you see blue light in the ashes it is the sign of rain
    If you see a halo around the moon it is the sign of rain
    When you see the cows running in the fields in the summer-time when the flies are disturbing them it is the sign of rain
    If the moon is lying on its back it is the sign of rain and if it is standing on one end it is the sign of fine weather.
