Mould used for making candles up to 50 years ago.If a sheep died the tallow was made into candles .There is a mould still at Haughs, Lismulbreeda,Darragh.
People used to dip rushes in tallow let them cool ,and then use them while eating supper.
Sliser of bogdeal used also.
Very big griddles for baking 3/4 st of flour in some rich houses.
Timber ploughs painted blue and mounted with iron were used up to 60 years ago .
