    Another trick was putting five saucers on the table one with earth, another with water, another with a ring, and in another a Rosary Beads, and the fifth one empty. Each of these has a different meaning. A "Púicín" is put on the eyes of each person and the person that puts his hand into the saucer of earth he is said to be the first that would die. If the person puts his hand into the water he is said to be the first to cross the seas If he puts his hand into the ring he is said to be the first that will be married. If he puts his hand into the Rosary Beads he is said to become a priest.
    If he puts his hand into the empty saucer he is said to be a Bachelor. Some of the ancient customs are, they used to send the girl they would expect to be
