    Almost every district can boast of its renowned athletes of long ago. whereever they went they bvecame famous. In this district of Ballinamorsough Co. Tipperary there lived about Twenty five years ago a man named James Fahey. He was an all round athlete, either in high jumping or the fifty six hound hammer he held the record for in his day. He was able to jump the height of six feet two inches.
