    Local Cures.
    The cure for thrush is to drink milk that a ferret drank out of.
    The cure for a toothache was to light a bit of paper and to let the smoke of the paper into the tooth.
    The cure fo piles was to get buttercups and to boil them in new milk and drink it three times.
