The old cure for yellow jaunice is all herbs. There was a man in Newtown, his name was O'Dwyer he was well able to cure it with herbs. He could walk out in the fields and pick them up and bring them in and boil them and give the juice of the herbs to the patient to drink. Before his death he left the cure to his daughter she is living in Newtown still and well able to cure it.
