- In one of the fields of Mr. Martin Gleson, Kilmore, there is a stone cut in the shape of a font which is believed was used for holy water in the Penal Days. The font is in the corner of the field and in the Penal Days there used to be Mass said there. Beside the font there are stones laid upon each other and at the other side there are three stones with cement on them.
