    water. In the evening one out of every family goes out on the fields sprinkling holy - water on everything, on all the animals and land. The people also shake holy - water on the wells because it is said that water would be taken from the well that night if the holy - water were not shaken. On St. John's night bon - fires are seen lighting everywhere to honour St. John.
