- As far as I am aware there are no holy wells in the parish of Dromcollogher. The nearest holy wells are those in Tulllylease in County Cork, about two times from Dromcollogher. There is one called Our Lady's well, and the other is called St Berichert's well.A pattern is held there on the 18th of February of each year.People resort to pay rounds and do devotions to the Saints especially those who have any ailments as they expect to be cured.People drink the water also as cure.Crosses and medals are left behind by people who go there and are hung on a bush which grows over one of the wells.(continues on next page)
