    There are a lot of fields, hollows, heights, rocks in the locality with ancient names. Some of them have Irish names and others have English names.
    There is a field in Kells known as "Cullie Fiddler because there used to be music always heard there. There is a field in field in the Gardenfield known as "páirc an alcóir".
    It is so called because there was an altar erected there in penal times.
    There is another field called "páirc an púarán because there are two spring wells in it.
    There is a rack in Clanbara called "carraig carral" because it is very shiny.
