    Some herbs are used as food for people and animals. People cut nettles small, mix them with meal and give them to the fowl.     The furze have a yellow flower, and if this were picked and boiled, they make a yellow dye. Herbs were used very extensively for cures long ago and sufferers were relieved at once by them.
