    Next morning she banged him off, and when he arrived at the school and told the master how his wife made him come to learn something, all the children were making game of him, so he ran off home again.
    She sent him to work again as usual next morning and every morning for a month after. One day he was working away hard about two miles from his house when a lord and his servants came along and on seeing the old man on the road side the lord stopped and spoke to him. "My good man" said he, the last day I passed along here I lost a large sum of money, did you hear if anyone found it.
    "Begor your Honour I found it meself said the old man. "Well", said the lord you are an honest man and I will reward you well.
    I gave the money to my wife said the old man, so if you will come home
