  1. A priest who had a small farm near his house lived near a grave yard. No one except a house-keeper and boy servant lived with him. In one of the fields a woman and a young child were seen every evening after four o'clock.
    One night the servant was putting the priests horse into the field. Just inside the gate he saw a woman and child. He went back to the priest. The priest got ready, took with him a little holy water and salt and his prayer book. When he came to the woman he sprinkled holy water on himself and asked the woman what was her trouble. She told him that she had died without being reconciled to God. Her child had died being un-baptised, so both of them were unhappy and they were sent back to make their peace with God. The priest baptised the child and heard the womans confession. She tanked him to showe
