"Wallflowers" is another game which I play in school. A number of girls join their hands and form a circle. We go around singing the song,
"Wallflowers, wallflowers growing up so high,
We are all pretty maidens we all have to die,
Except "- - " she is the youngest child,
To turn back to all the rest.
When they come to the end ryhme, the youngest girl would remain in the ring but turns her back towards the centre and she would go around with the others turned backways. The game would continue until they would all have their backs turned.- Bailitheoir
