- Long ago the people had potatoes for the stations but the priests would bring their own tea. When the priest gave the tea to the woman of the house he said to make it very strong because he had a head-ache. She started making the tea and when it was ready she drained the water out the door and mixed butter with the tea-leaves. When Mass was over she gave it to the priest and he asked her where did she go with the water. She said, she threw it out the door because it was as black as soot. The priest had to go home without any breakfast.
