  1. There are churns in some houses in this district. The sides of the churns are round. Butter is usually made once a week. There is a piseog connected with churning that who ever comes in to the dairy during churning time, they should turn the churn with the person that is churning because the people say that they would carry the butter with them. This is how the people know when the butter is made. They look in the round bit of glass in the side of the churn. If the glass is clean the butter is made.
