   Billy Brennan This man lived in Clooncraft. One night he carried a dead man to a bog and put him in a clamp of turf, because they could not bury a man in a graveyard because the soldiers were watching the graveyards in those times. When the soldiers were not looking he buried him in the graveyard. He lived in Clooncraff, Ballymurry, Co Roscommon.
   Pat Martin Pat Martin was a great swimmer. He swam up the Canal two Irish Miles and back again. Malacky Kelly, Culleen, Age 75 yrs
