One night he carried a dead man to a bog and put him in a clamp of turf, because they could not bury a man in a graveyard because the soldiers were watching the graveyards in those times. When the soldiers were not looking he buried him in the graveyard. He lived in Clooncraff, Ballymurry, Co Roscommon.
