   struck him dead as they thought. It was not Daniel but it was his mother that they had killed. The next morning early Daniel went to the burial ground with the corpse and on his way he had to pass by a town and outside the town there was a river. Daniel left down the corpse on two shaky planks that was across the river. He came back to the town for a drink and he told the girl in the shop to go out and bring in his mother until he would give her a drink of whiskey to warm her. He told the servant to give her a good shake or else she would not know what she would be saying.
