- Long ago before doctors were known country-men used to cure some ailments. These men were called "quacks". If a person was suffering from rheumatism he would get up early in the morning and go to a neighbour's field.
He should pick a certain leave from the field. When he would go home he had to put this leaf in boiling water and while it was hot he should put it to what ever part was sore. This should be done three mornings for one week and at the end of the week he would be cured.
