The signs of weather being are as follows.
If the sun sets red it is a good sign. If there is a rainbow in the sky in the evening it is a sign of good weather.
The signs of bad weather are.
If there are feather clouds in the sky it is a sign of bad weather. When the rainbow is in the sky on Saturday evening it is a sign of bad weather ahead. If the milky way is in the sky it betokens bad weather. The weather is judged by the behaviour of animals.
If beetles come into the house it is a sign of rain. If the dog lies down and goes to sleep it is a sign of rain. If the cat crouches lazily and purrs with it's back to the fire it is a sign of rain.
