Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)from the direction of the old wood. It was afterwards said the cut down oak trees were idols belonging to the pagans of old Ireland. Old people said it was wrong of the wood-cutters to cut down those old oaks. People of that district never forgot the terrifying screams.
I don't expect this story to be true, but still it is a very strange one.
