    refer to the animal. It derives from the Latin word 'bulls' or 'seal' which signifies that the Inn was licensed under the seal of the Abbey. This place is now owned by Mr. T. Stallard.
    "The Red Lion" was situated in the Coal Market on site of the premises now occupied by Mr. McCreery. The Hole in the Wall was situated in the rere of Bibby's Drapery Establishment. We are told that some of those who partook of supper in this tavern were Henry Flood, and Henry Grattan.
