    Our Lady's bed - straw will cure a bleeding nose if the flowers are bruised and put up into the nostrils and a bunch of the herb if put into warm water will cure the weariness of those who have walked a long distance. The old people say that the Blessed mother of God used the herb like this on her weary journey to Jerusalem
