    And preserve me from perils in Thy Heavenly Shade

    That night at my wake there'll be pipes and tobacco out
    Snuff on a plate on a table for fashion's sake.
    Mould candles in rows like torches awatching me
    And I cold in my Coffin at the dawn of the day
    III
    When my funeral is over, and home go my family
    In the churchyard alone I'll be left in my solitary
    The clocks and the airwigs (earwigs) creeping on top of me.
    And I could'nt lift my hand to drive them off me
