- There is a slope in a mountain near Sliabh an mban & it is said that a giant took the piece out of the mountain with his mouth & placed it in Cashel. Hence the Rock of Cashel.
- A giant lived in Currahill Castle?
- One evening in the month of Oct., two boys were coming home after a day's hunting. They had to pass the old castle at Castlemorris. Just as they were passing it, they heard the most awful sounds up in the sky. They were so frightened that they had to sit down. The noise continued for a long time
When the boys were ready to go, out walked a big giant, as they thought, out of the castle,(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
