Ar an leathanach seo

To prevent pains, the person subjected carried a raw potato in his pocket.
- An egg & shell, dropped into a horse's mouth, when he is lying down, is good for colic
A hot poultice of bran is good for a horse that has a sore leg. The bran shold be put in a small bag & put into a saucepan of boiling water. Take it out & put the horses's leg into the bag of hot bran
