From which four miles of a pleasent road leads you to Harristown.
All on the road as you speed on.
The schools and forge you meet.
You pass then by the grocer shop into the village street.
The village itself is small and quaint.
For first you meet your gaze, stand a pretty Irish cottage, a relic of bygone days.
A statly mansion furthur down, served barrick in days of yore.
Till peace and order all around.
    Showed twas not wanted more.
Another fine and statly hall, that's kept bright and neat.
Keeps liquor for the thirsty souls, to ally the dust and heat.
A few nice labourer's cottages, with the creamery furthur down.
Makes up the pretty villlage of dear old Harristown.
